Jane and George Hartner, parents of Alex, held a benefit show last October in North Carolina where they now live and Alex graduated from high school. The horse show raised over $40,000 which was awarded at the Banquet to the scholarships in Alex’s name for kids at her high school (Topsail High) and college (St. Andrews Presbyterian) where she was a member of the equestrian team.
